To be consecrated means to be set apart, to be made holy. When we consecrate ourselves to Jesus through Mary, we make a daily offering of all that we have and are into the hands of Mary Immaculate to use as she sees fit to win the world for the Sacred Heart of her Son, Jesus.
We do this so that all our thoughts and actions are drawn to Him, to be used for His purposes, cooperating with the graces He provides. If lived correctly, consecration moves us away from the world and our sinful inclinations, and closer to the Kingdom of God.
This site offers the information and daily prayers for consecration to the Knights at the Foot of the Cross, which is a special vanguard of MI consecration. More information on the theology of MI consecration can be found at www.consecration.com.
