The Undivided Heart
The honor given to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is related to her Immaculate Conception in that, being conceived without sin, there are no barriers within her will that prevent her from being completely united to God’s Will. It is sin – both Original and personal – that divides us from recognizing and following God’s Will.
It is from that perfect union with the Heart of God, that Mary’ Immaculate Heart is able to guide us into a more perfect union with the Trinity, and be transformed by God’s Love
“But she, brought into the love of the Holy Spirit, becomes from the first instant of her existence, and forever and eternally, the
complement of the Holy Trinity…In the Holy Spirit’s union with her, not only does love join these two beings, but the first of the
two (the Holy Spirit) is the entire love of the Holy Trinity, while the second (Mary) is the entire love of creation, and thus in this
union heaven is joined with earth, all of heaven with all of earth, all uncreated love with all created love; it is the summit of love.”
