Thank you for sharing our interest in and compassion for those who are imprisoned. We are the prison outreach of the Franciscan Friary of Marytown, the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe and national headquarters for Fr. Kolbe's Militia of the immaculata Blessed Virgin Mary as a means of spiritual renewal for individuals and society.
Someone once said “in every saint there was once a sinner, and in every sinner, a saint.” We are, all of us, in need of redemption. Whether our sins be pale and venial, or grave as scarlet, we are all washed clean in the blood of the lamb. By cooperation with the graces received from the heart of God, through the hands of the Immaculata, even the most hardened sinner can become a saint. God not only wills this sanctification, His Sacred Heart burns with desire for it.
In the spirit of St Maximilian, we offer all that we have and are in the service of the Church, Our Lord and his Blessed Mother, by evangelizing those lost and forgotten souls in prison with the Good News of God’s Mercy.
